Training

Our group runs include a wide range of paces and distances. Runners of all levels are welcome!

We currently host three weekly runs (checkout Meetup for full details and updates):

  1. Saturday Morning Long Run in Boston at 8:00 AM: We typically have routes of 5 and 10 miles depending on what people want to do that week. Paces / pace groups typically range from 7 – 9 minute miles (though we welcome all paces). Routes wander from Somerville to Cambridge and across Boston to keep it interesting. The start location alternates between Brewer Fountain on the Boston Common and Clemente Field near Fenway. Check out the Meetup page for details.
  2. For the winter we’ve suspended our track workouts, but look forward to starting them up again on either Tuesday or Thursday once the weather gets nicer! These workouts are typically held at the Harvard Track / Tempo Loop or the MIT Track.

We develop training plans for members training for events ranging from the 5k to the marathon. Please see our coaches page for information on our coaches – Andrew Kuo, David Parkinson and Adam Forkner.
